A Bit About Lisa Printz
Why did you get into the vending business?
I have been in the vending business since 1989. I love that this is a business that your entire family can be a part of. It teaches young people the lessons about money that are so valuable...and it is immediate. You get paid when you fill your machines. Great customer service coupled with consistent hard work...pays off!
What’s your biggest success story (so far) with helping someone start a vending business?
Back in the early 90's I helped a widowed mother start her business. She had only one child...an adult special needs son that lived at home with her. She was desperate to find him work that he could be successful at and would give him a good, consistent income. They started their vending business and she went with him for the first six months. After that he took over the route and was a wonderful, successful vendor. It was the first time in his life where he could truly feel successful. To this day...I think about them and it makes me so happy.
How do you help people start their businesses?
I think that I am good at helping people who are tentative see that they can be not just successful at this business...but very successful at this business. Whether it is a stay-at-home mom entering back into the workforce or the executive who is so burned out from the corporate grind...I believe that one of my gifts is to help people understand that this is a simple business that can be very profitable and successful for them. I love what I do!
What’s your favorite part of the job?
Getting pictures and stories about families succeeding in their new vending business. This country was built on the fact that anyone...anyone...who is willing to work hard and persevere can succeed! And vending is a simple business that with consistently delivered excellent customer service...everyone will succeed!
What should people know about you when they work with you?
I am first and foremost...a wife and a mother. My husband, Nate and I have been married for 35 years...and we still LIKE each other as much as we LOVE each other. We are very blessed. We have four young adult children...one daughter and three sons...as well as a wonderful son-in-law and two beautiful grandsons. All of our children and grandchildren live near us. We get to be a part of their lives on a daily and weekly basis.
I have a passion for helping people be not only financially successful in their work...but personally successful. All the money in the world won't matter if you don't have the time to be with the people you love. I love this business because it is a business that ensures a wonderful quality of life.
What are your passions away from work?
I went through college as a music, art and education major. I am still very passionate about the arts and about education. I have and continue to be very involved in my community and my church.
I love to garden and entertain. Having our children and their friends and families over is one of my favorite things to do.
Everyday is a gift...and every day I try to remember that and live in a way that honors that belief.
